These terms cover this website, the WhatsApp assistant and the checklist tool. Clearing a shipment is a separate arrangement, agreed with our team in writing.
About these terms
These terms apply to the ESE Logistic Solution Limited website, our WhatsApp assistant, and the document checklist tool. By using them, you agree to these terms.
ESE Logistic Solution Limited is a customs brokerage and freight forwarding company registered in Ghana (Company Registration No. CS205950925).
What these tools are for
Our website and tools provide general information about clearing goods in Ghana. They are there to help you understand the process and prepare.
They do not create a contract for clearing services. If you want us to clear a shipment, that is arranged separately with our team and agreed in writing.
The WhatsApp assistant
Our WhatsApp number is answered first by an automated assistant.
The assistant gives general guidance only. It does not provide official quotes and it does not give duty or tax figures. Duties and taxes are determined by the Ghana Revenue Authority through ICUMS, based on the value and type of your goods.
The assistant may pass your conversation to a member of our team. You can ask to speak to a person at any time.
While we work to keep the assistant accurate, automated systems can be wrong or incomplete. Do not rely on it alone for decisions about your shipment. Our team confirms requirements for each shipment.
The document checklist tool
The checklist tool shows the documents generally required for the cargo type you select.
It is a guide, not a complete or final list. Requirements depend on your specific goods and can change. Permits from regulatory agencies such as the Food and Drugs Authority or the Ghana Standards Authority may apply, and other agencies may apply to particular goods. We confirm what is needed for your shipment.
Your responsibilities
When you use these tools or contact us, you agree to:
- give accurate and complete information about your goods
- confirm requirements with our team before acting on anything the assistant or checklist tells you
- not use our tools for any unlawful purpose
- not attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain unauthorised access to our systems
You are responsible for making sure your goods may lawfully be imported into Ghana. The Ghana Revenue Authority maintains the official list of import prohibitions and restrictions.
What we are not responsible for
The information on our website and in our tools is provided in good faith, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or free from error.
To the extent permitted by law, ESE Logistic Solution Limited is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information given by the website, the assistant, or the checklist tool, including delays, storage or demurrage charges, penalties, or missed deadlines.
This does not affect any obligations we take on when you engage us to clear a shipment. Those are governed by what we agree with you directly.
Availability
We aim to keep these tools available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of them.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with information you share with us.

The content of this website, including text, images and our name and logo, belongs to ESE Logistic Solution Limited. Please do not copy or reuse it without our permission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use our tools means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
